I love to write. I have been writing since I was a child. When you grow up in a country wich are known for the midnight sun and northern lights, the imagination gets fuel. At least that is what happened to me.
When I was a kid we had a house by the forest. And infront of the house there was a pile with … soil(dont remember exctly) … was flowers on it during the summer. Anyway, at wintertime I used to lay on top of that pile in the snow at night and watch the green and blue waves surrounded by a white shimmer dance slowly across the nightsky; it was like the gods was waving at me. ” Come, Sirenia!” I could actually hear the calling deep in my soul.
I remember I got up on my feet, raising my arms up while I shouted up to the beautiful waves, begging them to take me with them. Please, hear me! Hear my call! To my big disappointment, the northern light never took me physically. But spiritually; it kinda did. I laid down on my back again and my mind started to wander. “What if …” and my imagination started to go its own way.
I did this many times. And some of my writings are inspired by exactly this as I described here.
For the record; I was known to be a dreamer. At school I used to stare out the window and not pay attention to class at all. At home I dived into my books and continued to dream when I put the book down. I think I never stopped to dream, to think – and kinda live in my own world.
I think I never will.
Some of my writing are good. While other of my writings really suck. I admit that. But the point is that I love what I do and I enjoy it. A friend of mine said that art is cool that way. What may seem like trash to some might be real art to others. And vice versa.
There is no right or wrong when it comes to art. I found some comfort in that.
I have relocated. From the beautiful north to stunning south. More exactly Greece.
Feel free to drop me a line. Click like on my writings if you find it amusing. Or dont click like if you dont like it. It is as easy as that 🙂
I click like on stuff I find interesting. I follow blogs with interesting containing. If I really like what I see, I read it many times over and I let the author know. I have met many beautiful souls here and I hope to meet many more.
This was some words about me. There is more to read about me here also. If you want.
And one day I will write about my journey from north to south. It has been a real adventure for 3 years now in both good and bad.
One day I will write.
Till then; enjoy the journey.
